Defining Project Success

With more than 15 years of Project and Portfolio Management implementation experience, Augeo consultants have been instrumental in defining many of the industry's best practices. Our goal is to ensure that even the largest implementations are smooth, quick, and successful.

Phase I: Analysis

Launch Meeting and Project Plan

The launch meeting is the official project kickoff to confirm the goals, establish guidelines and define the tasks that will occur during the implementation. The resulting deliverable is the Implementation Project Plan detailing the activities and responsibilities of all stakeholders.

Business Analysis

The Business Analysis step provides the basis for the Augeo5 configuration. The goal of this step is to create a 360-degree view of all of your projects and resources and to define your business processes.  Augeo Consultants will also help identify important issues and answer key questions before implementing the product.

This is accomplished through documentation and information relating to:

• Organization structure
• Resources
• Project structure
• Budget rules

Drawing upon knowledge and insights gained from designing solutions for similar organizations, Augeo Consultants are valued contributors during this process.

Phase II: Deployment

Product Configuration

Augeo5 is designed to meet the needs of your organization.  Augeo Consultants will set up the appropriate system options so that your specific business rules, templates and processes for all user categories are properly implemented.

Database Setup

During this process, data from your existing project management system (including spreadsheets, Microsoft Project files and other data sources) is migrated into Augeo5 to minimize setup costs, accelerate system launch and ensure fast adoption.

Our consultants will apply their considerable experience to assist you in the data migration, cleansing and conversion process.

System Integration and Interfaces

Because your Augeo5 solution may interface with your other systems, Augeo has developed a specific system integration service package to analyze requirements, develop and test interface software, and provide ongoing support.

Reporting and Business Intelligence

One of the key advantages of Augeo5 is its powerful Reporting and Business Intelligence capabilities. You have access to a library of standard reports along with the ability to produce new web forms, visually rich Crystal Reports® from Business Objects® or highly flexible Microsoft Excel reports.

Augeo also offers specific expertise for deploying its Datamart module, compatible with all Business Intelligence tools available on the market.

Phase III: Knowledge Transfer

Once the system is fully operational we concentrate on advanced training and knowledge transfer programs to ensure that you realize the full range of benefits through advanced planning, scheduling and reporting for your entire project portfolio along with the alignment of resources for maximum business benefit.

User Training

Augeo5 is used by many different project stakeholders within the organization, so we have designed several training packages to address the individual needs of each end-user, including –

Our approach is to train the Project Team and, using your project data, work with them to develop the appropriate training tools and exercises for transferring knowledge to all your end-users.

Administrator and Technical Training

Specific training courses are available for the functional and technical administrators, including advanced ad hoc sessions.

Training session can take place on site or in our offices, depending on your needs.
